If you travel the main highway through Baja California Sur, the journey from Cabo San Lucas to Loreto is just over 300 miles, taking around six and a half hours. Cabo San Lucas to Loreto Bus
The most budget-friendly option is the Cabo to Loreto bus: Autobuses Aguila. Buses in Mexico are comfortable and popular options for transportation with air conditioning and onboard restrooms. The bus makes stops to let passengers on and off in Todos Santos and La Paz. Most of the route is straight and smooth, leaving you free to enjoy the sights from the bus windows. As the road winds its way down the hills into Loreto, the view of the Sea of Cortez is unforgettable, the perfect beginning to the Loreto portion of your vacation.
